Hand Painted

All pottery is made with a high fire porcelain clay body which is fired to cone 6 ( 2200 F). At this temperature the clay vitrifies - becomes a solid mass - which makes it extremely functional i.e. Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. All work is either thrown on a wheel, hand formed using slabs of clay or slumped over moulds.  They are all hand painted with ceramic under glazes and then coated with a clear glaze. All glazes are non toxic and food safe.
