The Team Fiona (black top) and Sheldon (red top) with the help of their 2 beautiful children Jenna and Jonathantogether with the helping hands of Saba and Safta (Fiona's parents) have been creating brightly colored,f un,whimsical, functional and original pottery for the past 12 years. Fiona, who got her arts degree at Haifa University in Israel, is the artist and Sheldon, who is a self taught potter is the production guy. Fiona's magical work with the paintbrush and her imaginative and creative designs together with a high quality product has kept them popular at craft shows over the years.
What's New? After many years concentrating our efforts on doing craft shows in the US we are planning to scale back on the number of shows we do and focus on selling our work through galleries and gift stores as well as on-line. The wholesale work will consist mainly of lower priced production items that we have found to be very popular at the craft shows. We have found that through the proliferation of cheap imported products people have become more price conscious and not to concerned about quality. We will produce both a unique quality product at an affordable price that will more than compete with any imported item. As far as the hand painted and hand crafted items go we will be doing a limited amount of wholesaling. Because this work is exclusively painted by Fiona in very limited quantities this work will be at the higher end as far as price goes so it will only be available at the more exclusive galleries and gift shops. If there are those stores out there that are interested in carrying our higher end work please call us to discuss.

Production Process Mostly everything is made by us to maintain control of the production process and therefore the quality of the final product. At present the only item we do not make is the tiles for the trivets which is a high quality English tile. We employ different methods in making the various pieces, this includes throwing, slab rolling, RAM pressing, slip casting and hand building. The decorating is done by hand or by direct or indirect silk screening. There are 2 types of clay bodies we use. For the non functional items we have a custom white earthenware (low fire) body made for us and for all functional pieces we use a high fire porcelain clay. The advantage of using a high fire porcelain on the functional pieces is that it is resistant to chipping and scratching as well as being totally food (no lead), dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.
