Fiona Collins - Biography

Born in South Africa in 1963, Fiona moved to Israel in 1980 where she studied and received
a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree at Haifa University. In 1991 she immigrated to Canada where
her creative energy found a niche in working and decorating clay pieces created by her
husband Sheldon. This would see her and Sheldon traveling to many fine art shows, mostly in
the U.S..

She has found oil painting to be a wonderful expressive medium. Her inspiration is drawn
from the masters of the E'cole du Paris School of Modern Art where she has learnt to
indisperse perception and expressionism striving for vibrant reality reflected in the colours of
nature
Her reward for many hours of love and labour is the knowledge of the pleasure her works of
art will bring to many homes in Canada and the United States.
